Lady Cubs Travel To Bay Area Return to the Women's Cross Country Home Page Sep. 25, 2007 LA City’s cross country team is on the road this week for a major West coast meet in San Francisco. The Lou Vasquez Invitational that is held in Golden Gate Park is considered one of the premier cross country invitational meets in the country. Teams throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, and more are entered. The Lady Cubs are hoping to build on the momentum of 10 solid days of practice in preparation for this meet.
