Update on the Lady Cubs Posted 4/18/07 The Lady Cubs competed in the VS Athletics Long Beach Invitational on Sat., April 14. The meet, which included participants from NCAA Division I institutions and California community colleges, was hosted by Long Beach State University. Freshman Ingrid Douglas competed in the 100 meters and long jump. Her 100 meter time was clocked at 15.67-seconds in the finals of Heat No. 5. Her long jump best of 3.42 meters placed 7th in her Flight. Maritzela Barakat and LACC teammate Alma Ramirez ran in the Women's 800 Meter Run. Barakat finished 11th in her "heat" with a time of 2:38. Ramirez timed at 3:10. |
