Update on the Lady Cubs Posted 4/30/07 Freshman Maritzela Barakat represented LA City College in the South Coast Conference Track & Field finals last Friday, April 27, at Cerritos College. Her specialty event of the 800 Meters drew a large contingent of fellow Conference competitors. Although she didn't initially qualify for this weekend's Southern California Track & Field Finals in San Diego, the Conference will announce "at large invitations" to individual student-athletes by midweek. Hopefully, Maritzela will be one of those invited. |
